Does GigaSave read my carrier's balance automatically?
No. Enter the remaining GB shown in your carrier's app. GigaSave then estimates device-wide mobile data use from iPhone network counters and subtracts it. The estimate can differ from the carrier's official balance.
Can it turn Mobile Data or Cellular Data off?
No. GigaSave does not change that switch. It uses Apple's Screen Time features to temporarily limit apps or websites you select.
Can it show data use by app?
No. Check per-app mobile data use in iPhone Settings > Cellular or Mobile Data, then choose which apps to limit in GigaSave.
Are low-balance alerts instant?
No. GigaSave checks when you use the app or when iOS allows a background update. Notifications can be delayed. For the official balance, use your carrier's app.
Why does it need Screen Time access?
Apple requires your permission to apply limits to selected apps. Selections and settings stay on your device.
